FALL 2008 SEASON

Anyone who loves to sing can join the Somerville Community Chorus! There are no auditions and the membership dues are only $65 per season. You are not required to sight-read music and practice tapes are available to help you learn your parts. Remember, no auditions! If you like the chorus, just pay your dues and you're in!
All voices are welcome - especially tenors and basses!

The fall season will feature traditional Christmas and Hanukkah music with organ and piano accompaniment, including the Hallelujah Chorus (Messiah) by Handel.  This season's Holiday Concert will include a collaboration with the Somerville High School Chorus.

Our spring 2009 season will feature songs of peace and love including Handel's Anthem on the Peace.

Open rehearsals will be held at 7:15 PM on Tuesday, Sept 9th and Tuesday, Sept 16 at the Somerville Council on Aging. Feel free to attend one or both of these to learn about the chorus and the season's program. Weekly rehearsals are held there every Tuesday, 7:30-9:30 PM .

The Somerville Council on Aging is located in the TUFTS Adminstration Building (TAB) at 167 Holland Street, a little more than half-way from Davis Square to Teele Square. It's a 5-minute walk from the Davis Square T and parking is available. Enter the building through the Holland Street entrance, go up the stairs, turn left, and walk to the end of the hallway.
